We are reaching out to update you on the
current situation with COVID-19, commonly referred to as the coronavirus, and
measures we are taking as a Company. We understand that the situation is
constantly evolving and that there is some uncertainty.
The Hamilton Company is closely monitoring
the situation, including recommendations by the Center for Disease Control
(CDC) and other government agencies. In addition to our routine cleaning
procedures, we will implement additional protocols. We request your assistance
in helping to limit the spread of the virus.
Effective immediately, The Hamilton Company
offices are closed to walk in business. We will continue to offer full
property management services, including 24/7 emergency service. We encourage
all tenants to communicate with us by telephone and e-mail. If you have
an issue that requires an in person meeting, contact us and we will accommodate
you.
You may use the Resident Portal to
electronically submit rental payments and service requests. If you
have not registered for the Resident Portal, contact your site office and we
will be happy to assist you with the registration process.
It is becoming more common for individuals
who may have been exposed to the virus to be placed in quarantine, either on a
voluntary basis or as mandated by the local health officials, please adhere to
the following guidelines during your recommended quarantine period:
• Please
give us advanced notice of any in-apartment maintenance requests so that we can
properly prepare.
• Avoid
property common areas such as hallways, lobbies, etc.; community spaces such as
fitness centers, function rooms, storage spaces, etc.; Avoid package
rooms.
• Please
contact us if you require special assistance.
Here are some recommendations from the CDC
that all residents can follow to prevent spreading or contracting the
virus:
Stay informed - CDC is updating its website
daily with the latest information and advice for the public.
(www.cdc.gov/ncov).
• Avoid
contact with people who are sick and keep your distance from others when you
are sick.
• Stay
inside your apartment if you are sick to prevent spreading the illness.
• If
you have been in contact with someone suspected of having the virus you should
self-quarantine yourself to your apartment.
• Wash
your hands often using soap and hot water. Avoid touching your eyes,
mouth or nose with your hands.
• If
you feel sick with fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, and have traveled to
China or were in close contact with someone with CoVID-19 in the 14 days before
you began to feel sick, seek medical care.
• If
you have any further concerns regarding the coronavirus virus, please contact
your physician, medical care provider or the CDC.
If you are diagnosed with a confirmed case
of coronavirus, contact us as soon as possible at
Notification@TheHamiltonCompany.com so we may implement additional response
protocols.
